Gallery hours and a pair of wings
An afternoon among paintings, and a mural that asks you to stand in front of it.

June 2024 was a good month for looking at things. First an afternoon at a Kigali gallery, among canvases bigger and bolder than my paint-night sunset. Then a mural of red and blue wings that everyone in my camera roll seems to have visited. I stood in the middle, as one does. Kigali’s art scene keeps getting louder, and I am here for it.
