Paint night: a sunset I am taking full credit for

In April 2024 I went to a paint night in Kigali and left with an original: an orange sky, a red sun, two birds and a sea that curls into the shore.

I would like to say I planned the composition. I will say instead that I committed to it, and that commitment is most of art. It now lives at home, where it is treated with the respect a first exhibition deserves.
