Nairobi, first visit

Murals, painted buses and a city that moves faster than its traffic. The start of a habit.

My first proper Nairobi trip was at the turn of June and July 2025. I came for a week and left with a list of places to see next time, which is how cities get you.

The art is everywhere: on walls, on shop fronts, and on buses painted so brightly they look like they are on their way to a party. The pace took a day to get used to. After that, Kigali-calm and Nairobi-busy started to feel like two settings of the same person.
